Possibility to combine more models together

Possibility to combine more models together

All projects we do in BIM are separated to more models (HVAC, MIP, etc.).

It would be great to have the possibility to combine and see them in one view.

Thanks and have a nice day!

To specify the usage of this future:

1) I have a building model

2) I have other models such as HVAC, static, elektric and others

3) I would like to combine them together to see the building model with some of the others

It is not about clash detection (but it would be nice future as well 🙂 ) but about seeing the building all together.

It would be great. It is very needed in the Project coordination.

In my opinion this is already possible....

1) Make sure all files (your own rvt file, rvt-, and dwg links and eventually image files if you made custom materials) are in one and the same map.

2) Dont put any other files in this map.

3) If you had to replace links (because they were in different maps) make sure you relink them from the new created map.

4) Go to your A360 account and choose as upload: assembly.

5) Choose the map were you put all the files to upload.

6) Choose your own rvt file from the dropdown menu as the parent file.

7) Sit back and wait while the files are uploaded.

Make sure that all the rvt files/links aren't cropped with section boxes in the mayor 3d view.

Hope this solution works for you. It did for me.

Thank you very much!

I thing the tool wasn't there...

Actually it didn't work really when I tried that, the models hadn't
combined together,
but there is maybe some my mistake.
Did you meant "folder" by "map"? If not, what do you mean by it?

Thanks a lot once more!
