We would like to link projects into different A360 project cloud systems (hubs). If two hubs could be linked, files could be easily shared between them.

Greetings Rahul, One of our consultants was wondering when the bility to send to printer Sheets in PDF format will be avialble versus downloading then print also I would like to add the ability to print the markups example wil happen when we dont have a speialy consultant on our hub but we might provide latest markups on PDF.. Thaks for listening.

When a Revit file contains other linked Revit models, A360 automatically finds all those links and packages everything together into a ZIP file as soon as you hit the Download button. Cool, right? Not so much. Maybe 1% of the time do we actually want that. The majority of the time, when I need to download A.RVT, I ONLY want to download A.RVT. I do not want to download: B.rvt C.rvt D.rvt... Just because they are all linked. I cannot find any option to simply tell A360 that we DO NOT want to include linked files when we download. Why is this such as big deal? If you don't have many links, maybe it isn't a big deal. We are currently working with a huge project and the main Revit project contains over 50 links. Yes, it's a lot of links. So you can sese the frustration when a consultant needs to simply download a SINGLE 10 MB Revit file to use as a background for their own model and are, instead, forced to download a ZIP file containing 51 files, at around 2 GB. Not good. A download that big will very often fail. Even when it doesn't, it's now taking 25-50 times as long to download something because we are forced to download 50 files we didn't even intend to download. Is there really no simple option to tell A360 not to download all links? This is a good option, but why is it the default? Thank you for looking into this issue.

Now is possible to create folders in BIM360 Project, but if I open this project in Revit, I don't see same folders structure (all files will be located in project folder without any nested folders). I think will be better, if Revit also can show all folders inside the project or only folders with .rvt files.

Now is possible to add Revit links from BIM360 Project, but also necessary add possibility for links from cloud for .ifc, .dwg, .sat, .dwf, .rcp and other file formats. Without this feature I can't use only BIM360 cloud for my project, I need also use dropbox or similar services.

The ability to markup PDFs would be nice. Even sending the file to Adobe Reader and back to A360 much like how Dropbox does it would be very beneficial! I'm sure this would be relatively easy to implement 🙂

So, I get how this would work for small projects but what would be great is to have it for larger projects as well. - enterprise level import / export of project members - folder level permissions - the ability to make changes to accounts who are invited - say I invite someone from FirmB and they leave FirmB but I want to maintain their data record. I'd like to change that to FirmB-2 giving permission of the account to someone else from FirmB. - Alternately, if someone leaves FirmB, I don't want them accessing the project data and I'd like to be able to disable their access to the project. I have a lot of requests for Revit-related tools for what you can do with a posted model, but I'll wait for that functionality to appear.

The ability to Delete a project instead of Deactivate. If I'm the owner of my personal A360 account, then I should have full control, which includes deleting projects.

I'd like to be able to use and A360 viewer where I can both take measurements from a model, and also add comments. The A360 Dashboard viewer seems to allow you to make comments, but not measure. Where in the A360 Viewer you can take measurements, but cannot add comments. Unless I am missing something. Could these viewers be based on the same platform, and ideally a hybrid of the two?

We're trying to figure out a workflow in our office to review drawings. What we want is for all designers (can't normally work in Revit) to comment on drawings. We want to link those comments back to Revit, so modellers can easily see what needs to be done. When exporting a new set of drawings we still want to be able to see the old markups. Thus engineers can check if issues are solved to their liking. DWFx almost seems to be a good workaround except DWFx files on the network get locked all the time. An engineers have the DWFx file open in Autodesk Design Review or Revit updates comments our modellers give on the markups and Revit overwrites the files. This would be solved by using the online A360 comments tool but it's not even possible to download a commented DWFx file. It would be really great if it was possible to directly see (and comment on) the markups by linking to the online DWFx file in BIM 360 and Publish a new set of drawings including all the old markups for the engineers to check. We would like to see the ability to print sheets from Revit models. unfortunately there is no export sheet as PDF or print Sheet options, the only options is the download link which this downloads the entire Revit model when project managers only need the sheet, this will allow us to export the Sheet (or sheets) to PDF/DWF in order to print/markup until markup comes along.

Please provide an automated way to provide uploads and downloads to A360 Team. Buzzsaw has a similar option that has been really helpful on past project.

Any thoughts to a dropbox-like sync client? I would love the ability to sync a folder or other content on my server at a vartiety of locations with the data online. Use case: I am working on 3 projects, sharing files on A360. I don't want to have to upload and download all the files every time I make a change, so I set up 3 sync folders: \\Server\Project\Documents\SyncA \\Server\Project\Dcouments\SyncB etc. the ability to have more than one location would be key. As I make changes to documents and want to share them to the team, I can drop full folders or just files into those folders and it updates the content on line and notifies subscribed team members. It also keeps a log of the time I posted (or someone else posted). I would also recieve folders or files from others. The time spent on large scale projects uploading and downloading is A LOT. As an example, on one project, we had some 80 files transfered weekly and it took a single person 10 hours a week to upload and download all the files from the larger design team. A sync service would be great.

BIM360 Team You should be able to delete a version of a model, not just delete all versions. For instance if you make a mistake and upload a new version of the wrong model, you then need to delete that whole model and not just the version you accidentally uploaded. This could cause major issues if there is a lot of team comments and you have 10+ model versions as you will lose all the comments and have to re-upload all versions up until the mistake This feature needs adding! It would be nice to schedule the comments in "Likes"and "Tasks". And the possibility to give the tasks a priority to order. Create a button to export the comments to Excel. It will give the ability to improve the model, in a fast way.

It would be very useful to have a way to export the list of all the users with their roles in each project they belong, to avoid to do it manually by entering in each project. I have found the same kind of request in the Fusion Lifecycle Ideas (https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/fusion-lifecycle-ideas/export-user-list/idi-p/7377482), and the possibility to use the api to get xml dump is really saving a lot of time: https://[yourtenant].autodeskplm360.net/api/rest/v1/users Enabling the same functionality in Fusion Team will allow Team Administrators to save time.
