I exported a file from Vectorworks 2013 and when the design layers came into cad the archetecture scale was twice as large as the dimension said they should be. for instance a 4 foot wall, dimensioned in vector works, measures 8 feet in my cad model space. Not sure how to correct this. Please Help
I'm not familar with vector works, but it sounds like the vector works drawing may not have been 1:1 and the vector dimensions may have had a scale factor applied. I "think" you probaby need to use the SCALE command in Autocad (perhaps with the [R]eference option) to scale the drawing to the correct size. Can you attach the drawing, at least a portion of it, for us to examine?
