Prevent Objects intersecting each other

Hello,

i would like to know how i can prevent the intersection of a plane with an other object. As you can see on the picture i want to have the water not go through my boat.

If this is a still image, I would select the polygons of the water and push them down, to avoid that intersection.

If it is an animation, then you'll have to create some system to automatically push those polygons down when the boat moves.

You could try push vertex, or soft selection or any similar modifier.
