I'm using 3ds Max 2017 and I was wondering if anyone knows if there's a script or a feature that will run a pre-render check to see if there are problems with the scene (missing textures or Missing UV's) in a dialog that will stay up so we can identify those problems? As it is the dialog that comes up before rendering must be closed before you can start finding the problems. In large scenes this can be problematic.

SINI has the Forensic, which I believe it is free.

For finding missing texture maps, I like using a script from Colin Senner, Relink Bitmaps. It will give you a list of any missing maps and help you to relink to their location, or identify what material they're used in.
