Mental Ray Car Paint with Black Color

I'm using the shader "Car Paint" with the Mental Ray render and trying to make a car in black but even putting a black color in the "Base Color", the render always appears in a shade of gray.

I accept suggestions.

Maybe it's flakes colour or other colour settings ?

Can you post ZIP-ed scene with your material assigned to sphere ??

I tried several settings including the flakes but it did not work. I put the original scene attached 

I´m using 3ds max 2014

OK, I've played a little with settings, and your car is now black 😉

I've attached the scene and posting the screen for you to know which settings affects colour and reflections mostly.

Hey guys, very interesting Topic.

I tried to play with your car scene myself, but i only got Max 2012, so I couldnt open it.

Marcelo, if you have time do you think you could export it in a 3ds max 2012 Version again?

for some strange reason, it crashes very often while rendering. but its an interesting file.
