Gradient material

Hey, does anyone know how to create a gradient material using two different materials? I need to create a material that transitions from transparent glass to a metallic chrome/mirror (Attached a picture for reference).

I've tried using the gradient map but it only allows me to change colors on one type of base material and I also tried using the Top/bottom-material but it basically just merges the materials in a not so nice way... Up until now I've tried solving the issue by rendering the same object twice with a glass material on one and a chrome material on the other and then by creating the gradient manually in photoshop... I feel like there has to be an easier way to tackle this, does anyone know?

I am using Corona renderer. Would be so grateful for some help!

You could use a Blend material and put your gradient to the mask channel.
