GPU rending details

I'm attempting to use GPU rendering for a project to save some render time. I see that the sample settings get grayed out and just the camera sample settings are available. I understand this and have adjusted my settings to get a pretty clean noise free result... but the render is much darker. I'm messing with exposure control but not having a lot of luck. Am I missing something obvious?

When in GPU you control the quality with the Camera AA Max and Noise Threshold.

Thank you very much for that! I'll check it out. I ended up signing up with Rebus Render Farms, the rates are reasonable and my scene renders so much faster... something I should have done long ago!

Wow that tutorial was good, so informative. I immediately subscribed to his channel... One of the problems of not working in a studio with lot's of animators is the lack of brillant 3d artists to collaborate with. Thanks very much for the share.
