Hello, I've been able to use activeshade in the viewport, but suddenly I can't.
Target set to Activeshade
Renderer - Arnold
Floating activeshade window works perfectly
There is no option in the viewport pulldown for activeshade
If I got to viewport configuration/layouts, I can change the viewport to activeshade, but this results in a black screen with the pull-down windows normally in that window no longer available.
Latest MaxtoA version
Graphics driver looks correct (and active shade floating works)
Restarted/rebooted, changed screen resolution etc
I'm not sure what I hit or did to have the option removed.
I've included a screen recording with a simple scene.
Thanks for any help!

Hi ..
if you need pulldown for activeshade and change it to perspective again
apply the same way but in the other windows .. click on [ + ] ... the same window will appear then change the activeshade to perspective again 🙂
If you need something else please explain 🙂

I found it. it's different from 3ds max 2017. I guess you are using 3ds max 2020 like me...
It's not under the 2nd (physical cam) but the third brackets (standard) : [+][physicalCam][standard][default...]
Hope it helps.
