You would need to post more details (code, error messages, screenshots) but right now, it sounds a bit like you are coming across a new security feature introduced to 3ds Max to prevent malicious code from running.
For diagnostics you could try to temporarily disable the Security Tools (I do NOT recommend to leave them disabled for longer!) and see whether that removes the issue?
