shadow on one side of objects

Hi,

I would like to have the right side of all my objects in shadow. So one bright side, one side in darkness. I have 500+ objects so it would be too much work to put lights on them one by one. Does anyone have a script that maybe can do this to all my objects?

Depending on the renderer that you are using you might be able to get the effect you want by simply adjusting the object properties and use one light source. For example, using scanline you can to turn off the object properties receive and cast shadows and then  use a several light sources from the left.
