how to display result?

Hi i have a script question here, hoping someone from here could give me some quide, thank you.

format "area=%\n" sum

the format script can display the result in maxscript listener, but it cannot display the result in my rollout label,

may i know is it posible to do that?

Hi i have solved the display result issue after a lot of trial and error, when i think everything is work fine, the script has give me another issue.

when i select a editpoly and use the script, everything is fine, but if i didn't select any object to use the script, it show the error message as below:

Runtime error: EPoly operation on non-Editable Poly: undefined

did anyone know how to solve this?
