I need your help !

Can someone give me any Ideeas about what's going on?

(the mesh is about 10k -15k polys)

You need to correctly unwrap your model before you attempt to paint on it.

Thank you for your reply . You are right .

But now I am facing another problem . There are too many vertices and it's a hell in the UV unwrapper.  Is there an automated to lay out the vertices so they don't overlap in the bitmap?

try to use Flatten mapping (unwrap uvw editor)
set the spacing to zero.

"Flatten Mapping" 3dsMax will automatically attempt to re-unwrap the model which you may not want.

"Pack UV's" sounds like what you're after, this takes all your selected UV's and arranges them within your work area so they do not overlap.

 

Once you've done this you shouldn't have any troubles painting on your model.
