tube primitive, radius 1 = radius 2?

is there a way to create a tube only one unit thickness?

in other words radius 1 = radius 2

when i do set radius 1 = radius 2 it doesnt render correctly

or should i create a circle and extrude it?

hi spectrum you can make this by using only adding an extra .1 vaue for example   radius r 1 = 50 and  radius r2 = 50.1 then it renders correctly...thanks

Hi, you can have both radius with the same value, but you will have overlapping faces, that's why the result is not correct and i don't recommend doing this.

You can try the solution provided by Don, it will work, but you will have a thickness in your tube. If you don't need a thickness, you can extrude a circle as you said, or create a cylinder and remove the caps. Once your model is finish, you can add a Shell modifier to add a thickness.
