showing and not showing control points or vertexes

Sometimes when working on a model I need to see the modifier live, like as I'm working on it.  For example, I'll have a top view and a perspective view.  Say I've got a FFD box modified that I'm working with. I need the vertexes to show in the top view but would like to keep the perspective view clean so I can see the results without all the vertex points getting in the way.

Is there a way to not show vertex or control points in specific viewports while you're manipulating them?

thank you

Hi,

Unfortunately it cannot be done.

The only workaround, and it's not very practical for you i think, is to turn your perspective viewport

To an Active Shade display mode, making it a real time rendered view. It will not be very responsive

Like a normal Viewport, but if you have a strong Video Card you can get acceptable result.

Just make sure,if you want to do this, and in case you're using Vray, to go to Render Setup,

Assign Renderer rollout and set the Active Shade to V-ray RT

To make your Perspective viewport display the active shade mode, right click the name of the viewport,

Extended Viewports, Active Shade. You'll need to wait few seconds until the rendering engine starts workingactive shade.PNG
