save active camera view not working max 2017

I can not use "save active camera view" it is gray on menu

If viewport is in perspective  view   "save active perspective view" works fine

Am I doing something wrong?

Hi,

It doesn't work on camera views,

It's confusing i know, since you're seeing the possibility but grayed out at the same time,

I think the developers should fix this is, so users don't think they're doing something wrong and

Get confused!
