Problem with selection

So I was doing3dsMax today and I was creating a building, when suddenly, I stoped beiong able to select stuff and if I wanted to, I had to go to one edge and it would always grab three of each (three lines, three planes...) I am turning mad, please help me.

So cant find how to delete the post but I succesfully fixed it... I ticked "By Vertex" in selection, I feel very stupid right now x2
