Please someone could help me, begginer :)

Hello everyone ! 

I'm new in 3ds max and I start to modeling a glock 17 slide, when I put a boolean or something it came a situation that block me everytime and i don't know what to do after that...  What would you do at this stage ? (screenshot attached)

I don't know how to explain that if someone could feel me lol 

If someone could explain or send me THE perfect video that gonna change my life ahah

It's not 100% clear what the issue is. In screenshot 1.jpg it looks like the opening for the barrel is blocked, is that it?

 

In any case, most of the time issues with booleans are due to non-manifold (objects that have open edges) objects being used. Before performing the boolean, I suggest that you add an "STL Check" modifier and check for any "open edges". If you have any you need to close those edges usually by welding vertices or capping any holes.
