3ds max functionality not working properly-inset

Inset is not working properly in my 3ds max.

I am using 3ds max 2017.There may be other functionalities that are not working that I have not yet come across.

Is this problem related to display driver ?

Please see screenshot.This happens on doing inset.

Initially when I did inset (Group) the result I am getting is in the below screenshot.

After doing inset when I tried to move the inset polygons the result I am getting is in the above screenshot.

The only way I can reproduce your result is by insetting too much:

Make sure to input a proper value to not "overturn" the inset.
