Importing AutoCAD Solids into 3DS Max

I have a model that I built in AutoCAD which has 91 individual solids.

I'm trying to import the model into 3DS Max 2017, but keep having issues.

Using the AutoCAD Import, my model is welded into one block. If I do not use the weld, the model comes in with all of the 91 solids exploded into faces.

I have tried STLOUT from AutoCAD, with some success, but the solids don't import in the same spacial location. They come in scattered. Plus, with STLOUT, it takes forever to do it one piece at a time.

What is the best method of import to have the model import intact with all of the solids spatially located and still solids?

Try exporting the file to the ACIS (.sat) format.
