I have this problem every time I want to export an "fbx" model. When I export the faces appear flipped.
Before exporting make sure they are not inverted in max - RMP, object properties / backface cull - on. Will draw faces as one sided so if they already flipped it would be easier to spot.
Also you can try to apply Normal modifier with Unify checked. The apply ResetXFrom just in case and collapse the stack.
select your model and add edit poly modifier and select all polygons > right click > flip normlas
