Hello, I have a project coming up that will include about 400 various wood moulding shapes. In 3ds Max I produce a closeup of a window with a casing surrounding it, using the sweep modifier. Another project is a crown moulding closeup, or a base moulding, etc. The client has about 400 different mouldings I will need to sweep along a spline to incorporate them into a scene.
My employer asked me if there is any way to automate this to speed up the process. I think the casing/base/crown, etc. will all be in a semi shiny white-like paint texture, so no worries of texture stretching.
Any thoughts, please? Thank you very much for any suggestions.
