can't select objects in prespictev viewport

hello everyone ...

i can't select any objects when i am in prespictev viewport only select from workspace explorer  

note:selection lock toggle disabled , selection work normally in the other viewports

Is it for a particular Max doc or is it common in all of the Max files you have. Can you post a GIF or a screenshot of your viewport?

Which 3dsMax version are you using?

Can you attach the Max file?

it's 2015 ......file is almost 100 mb 😞

Hi,

Strange! but maybe something messed up your User Settings folder,

I suggest you reset it by:

1- Closing 3DS max

2- Go to: C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Local\Autodesk\3dsMax\20xx - xxbit

And rename the folder called ENU to something else like ENU.old and restart Max.

Note: AppData is a hidden folder so you need to enable show hidden files and folders from
