Accumulating objects on a surface

Hi,

I've modelled a bullet and I'm gonna accumulate hundreds of them over the ground and render it. I think I have to use particle systems but I don't know how to create such an effect. I know how to put hundreds of an object over the ground but I don't know how to create accumulated objects. For better understanding I've added a photo which I've found in Internet. As you see in this photo, there are lots of bullets positioned randomly and naturally and I want to make such a scene for my own bullet model. Please help me to accumulate hundereds of my bullet model over each other.

I need an urgent help. Please help me.

Thanks.

Hi, you can try this:

- Place all bullets individually (the worst suggestion)

- Use Particle Flow or mParticles Flow

- use MassFx to simulate dynamics where hundreds of bullet are accumulating on each other with gravity.

- use a script or the Scatter compound object to scatter the bullets on a plane.

Personnally, in this case i would use massFx.
