Right-Click to End Chamfer? (NOT Abort Chamfer)

MAX2021

In MAX2021, if I:

1.  Create a cylinder.

2.  Convert the cylinder to an editable poly.

3.  Select some edges.

4.  Right-click to bring up the quad menu and choose 'Chamfer' and chamfer the edges.

5.  Right-click to exit the 'Chamfer' process... the newly create chamfers are REMOVED!!

I just want to exit the 'Chamfer' process and keep the chamfers I created... NOT remove the chamfers I just created.

In MAX2020 (and previous versions), this works as desired... with a right-click, the 'Chamfer' process is exited and newly created chamfers are preserved.

Is there a setting to make MAX2021 work as before?
