Issues connecting polygons

Hey I'm having issues connecting two different polygons, the only thing I could come up with is they're not grouped together but I tried grouping them and then I'm unable to select any polygons, what am I doing wrong?

if you attach them together then select the two polygon's and then choose bridge that will work

That's the issue it will only allow me to select one polygon, I'm unable to click on the polygon I want to "bridge" to.

if you attached both walls together then you beable to brige two poly together, In 3dsMax you can't bridge faces, that belongs to two different objects.

here is a script it called super poly bridge http://www.scriptspot.com/3ds-max/scripts/super-poly-bridge the tutorials are too.

side note i never convert down because you lose the option for max to automatically cut holes in walls for the doors and for windows, you will need to keep boolean which sc*** up the mesh.

I understand that but it's only allowing me to select one polygon, I can't select the other that I want to bridge to.

Maybe you press the space bar and lock the selection?
