Currently when using Save Selected to save a selected portion of a scene all layers will be saved to the new max file.
This is not only illogical, but can also be cumbersome when dealing with really large scenes containing many thousands of layers. Large scenes that takes a long time to open due to complex layer structures (generated from CAD scenes for example) will still take very long time to open due to all the empty layers saved to the new max file.
Do NOT include layers that are NOT connected to the selected objects when using Save Selected.
