As with maya 2020 updates, it would be nice to have this ability in 3ds max without having to go through the long process of using an attachment constraint and having to set position. We should be able to do it with all sub-objects and not just polygons(like attachment constraints). vertices, just as easily as its done in maya. By just selecting the sub-object on the model, right clicking and finding a botton that links/attaches the subsequent mesh to that point.
it should not be limited by deformations or modifiers that changes the topology of the mesh, except ofcourse, subdivision modifiers.
