FFD-like modifier for UVW Mapping

FFD-like modifier for UVW Mapping

It would be nice if we could apply an FFD-style modifier to the islands in the UVW mapping window, so we can have additional tools to control and stretch uvs with some finesse.

For example, i have a piece of an arm chair that I have to unwrap, and it maps a little strange.  The falloff brush tool works ok, but it's very putsy and I find myself trying to remap the uvs on almost a vertex level, which gives me wavy-looking results in the texture map.

If I could just throw a UVW FFD Modifier on the object, and stretch out one corner, it would all map nicely.   Bonus points for additional bezier-like controls on the UVW FFD modifier similar to the warp tool in photoshop!

Would love to see this! It hasn't made it into Max 2020 has it?

This would make my life so much easier. I'm consistently UVing complex shapes using a tiling texture set and being able to FFD the UVs would produce much cleaner results much more quickly.

This would be a fantastic addition to Max's current UV toolset, as in my job I've encountered countless scenarios where an FFD-type modifier would be useful when UVing.  The entire team I work for has been talking about how this would be an awesome tool alleviating a lot of headache.
