Color panels for scripts and plugins

Color panels for scripts and plugins

Improvement of the panel of modifier icons and scripts.

The modern menu and icon panel is inconvenient.
The fact is that it is impossible to insert many icons into it, and this can be very important!
For example, I have a lot of scripts and plugins, I place them on this panel, or create a new panel, but all the icons are obtained outside the screen.. and in order to get to the extreme icons behind the screen, you have to manually scroll the list to the right or left side, and navigation and grabbing scrolling is inconvenient and often you tear the menu itself from its positions with the mouse.
It is much more convenient to make an intuitive drop-down menu system, this menu can be configured manually by dragging new icons into it, for example, to make a slot.
Yes, there are some drop-down menus for icons in max, but they cannot be configured or the configuration is very difficult.
It is possible to make a system of dragging icons among themselves or forming them into 1 folder.. make this "folder" a name.. mark it with a color, perhaps it will add its icon to the folder..

The idea is that it would be possible to form your own groups from icons.. like folders in Android, for example.. by simply dragging them with the mouse between each other.

This approach will greatly facilitate the appearance of the interface and remove the need for inconvenient scrolling of the list due to the boundaries of the screen.

After all, if the icon behind the screen turned out, then you can't get it! The list cannot be scrolled in any way!
Yes, if you hover the mouse between the icons, the shift icon appears, but! this can be extremely inconvenient when the shelf starts from the edge of the screen and the shift turns out to shift 1 icon.. which is extremely inconvenient.

In Maya, the panel system is very well made, it is convenient to add new icons, swap them with each other within their place, rename, increase in size, highlight important ones by degree.. I would take the idea roughly from there.

2- It would be really cool to be able to change the icons on the panel between each other in places, otherwise it turns out that you added an icon, but you can't move it.. and very often the icons fall into the wrong place where you were aiming with the mouse, for example, below the previous icon and you wanted higher.. or you have a lot of icons on the panel, and you can't structure them as you like..

then you can combine some icons into a group with a drop-down list of them.. and leave others below.
For example, I have 5 scripts for working with normals, and below are other icons for scripts of other functions, and I need to save space, then I combine all the icons of scripts for working with normals into 1 "folder" and just hover the mouse over it and a menu with other icons for this folder falls out.. ..and below are other icons of other scripts..
This way I structure my menu even better.

Make it possible to flexibly customize icon panels.

3- Make it possible to highlight text from icons, for example, to make it a different color, thickness, slope.. so that it would be possible to visually distinguish the zones of icons by use.

4 -Make it possible for the shelves themselves to change color, gradient.. skin.. so that it would be visually possible to distinguish by importance what I need.. for example, the control shelf I set the color blue, and the shelf with scripts I set the color red, and the shelf with render icons I set the color yellow..

5 - Make it possible to add an icon or change an icon from outdoor locations, for example, download an ico or png icon from the pc directory.

P.S.
And in general, there is a great lack of processing the visual style into a more modern one.

..as a general direction..
