Adding a wall using Vertex of Edge/Segment to snap to an existing wall works for me in 2014.  To add a window to a wall I use snap set to Face.

Hi, if your object to snap has a different value then "0" in Z axis, snaps for AEC Extended > Wall does not work.

Please;

-Move your object to "0" position on Z Axis

-Or go to AEC Extended > Wall > Keyboard Entry Rollout > Click on Pick Spline, then Click on the object you want a wall to be created on.

Best regards;

I drew a rectangle in Max 2016 then set snaps toggle to vertex. The wall snapped to the corners of the rectangle.

This seems pretty straightforward so there must be something else that you are assuming that is not clear to me.

Hi;

Easiest way to explain what i am saying is;

If you move that rectangle in Z axis (either "-" or "+"), your snaps will not be working.

I think that might be the case in your very first post.
