I cannot ungroup objects with icons like this. How to unbundle them?

Probably the group is currently open which disables the ability to ungroup.  Try closing the group (Group Menu > Close) first and then you should be able to ungroup the objects in the group.  If there are groups within groups you will have to close them all to be able to ungroup all objects.
