Hi,

try to check few thing:

1- camera location, maybe it's inside a wall

2- if it's a Vray plane light, check the orientation of the arrow, since it's in that direction

the light will be emitted

3- Check the visibility of the light from the Options rollout,

If light is visible and it's in front of the camera then you'll see black, in this case

Checking the option Invisible will solve the problem

4- Also you have the location of the light itself, like the camera, check to see if it's not

hidden inside a wall.

If you press 8 on the keyboard is it possible that

in the Exposure Control rollout you have an exposure control method applied?

If that's the case, from the drop down list choose <No Exposure Control>

Also as an extra check, maybe, by accident you unchecked the Enabled Option of Vray Sun

That to me looks like an issue with a) normal map has the wrong gamma, b) normal map or bump map is too strong or c) displacement is too strong. Can you show us the material?
