I have the same problem with 3ds max. When I render scene with single frame it appears as ok, but when I do animation one particular shader is bright red. Does anyone know anything about it?

Hi @Anonymous

We don't have access to Redshift and I'm not an expert on Max so I went ahead and moved your post to the 3dsMax forum.

My co-worker @hagen.deloss  is our Max forum guru and he can take over here Smiley Happy

Hi @Anonymous

Great to hear from you on the forums! What render engine are you using when this happens?

Does this happen when you aren't using Redshift? If not, I would suggest posting your issue on the RedShift forums here.

If you are still encountering this issue, even when you aren't using RedShift, I would ask for further details regarding your materials, and scene. I have a few more questions to further understand the issue.

  • What version of 3ds Max are you using?
  • Is it possible that you have keyframed a material?
  • What material type are you using?

Looking forward to chatting further!

Hi @hagen.deloss , I have downloaded  the new build and the problem has been fixed. Everything is working perfect now!

- 3ds Max 2018

- redshift v2.6.32 - red shader problem

- redshift v2.6.36 - fixed

I am sorry for the delay in my answer, my inbox is really crowded and I'll try to be faster in the future.

Thank you!
