I have a weird problem with UVW unwrap editors transform numeric inputs. Inputs on the upper portion of the editor work fine but the ones on the lower portion are very small in scale and no numbers show up when polygons are selected. It seems you can type into them but nothing shows up. I have tried adjusting windows text scaling. No success there. Same issue in max 2018 and 2019.
Hi @Anonymous
Thanks for posting on the forums! I'm looking at the UVW unwrap tools and it looks like the bottom right Coordinates are set to zero automatically, if you input a value, it will offset the selected UV's by the amount entered. Is this the same thing you are experiencing?
The values on the bottom right seem to only control the soft select radius.
It is odd that no value is appearing at all in those fields for you. Have you tried resetting your user settings back to default?
Are you using multiple monitors, or a 4k monitor?
I'm looking forward to helping you resolve this issue 😄

This seems to have been a temporary bug. I am using one 4k monitor. I updated my graphics card drivers yesterday. That did not solve the problem. But surprisingly today the problem has vanished. Maybe it just took an extra reboot of the system after the driver update...
@Anonymous
I'm happy to hear the issue was resolved, though it sounds like we are still unsure of the root cause.
Let me know if you encounter any other issues 😄

Hey, it appears i am also having the same issue. I am unable to input numbers into the offset to move selected UV islands. I am also using a 4k monitor, im unsure if this effects anything but my Pc is up to date with all it's updates including graphics card.
Has there been a solution to this yet?
