Mirror reflecting light that is behind object

Hi, I have an interior scene that has a mirror wall  and a cove light ceiling, but the mirror seem to reflect the strip light that is placed behind an object. Thank you.

that is what a mirror does in the real world reflects stuff if you don't want the mirror to reflect things then move it somewhere else but where ever you put it the mirror  will reflect things, or don't use a mirror at all.

I don't think there is a way to stop the mirror reflecting like with the lights where you can use the exclude button so the lights stop shine on things,

Hi,

Is the strip lighting an object? Rick-click the strip light object(s) -> object properties... -> General tab -> Rendering control -> Click-off 'Bylayer' -> Click-off 'Visible to Reflection/Refraction.

If you are using V-Ray lights you can set them to "invisible" to hide.

Browse through results here - may be an answer, too.

Not where I can test this - hope it helps.
