i still have a saved copy before attaching and i wish to know is there a way of attaching in a seamless mode not allowing any gaps  or can each row be  welded to the next ?

i am still at the early stage of putting together the military figure , once  done i will be ready to design the uniforms that go on top as per new tutorial . i also need to make different copies with different postures . to bring in different objects into different files i am having a bit of trouble . i use export  and place in import folder  and then import but its not always working , it worked once or twice . what is the method you use ?

you only use import if your importing a file into 3ds max, if the file is in 3ds max then you need to use the merge tool https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/3ds-max/learn-explore/caas/CloudHelp/cloudhelp/2019/ENU/3DSMa...
