Hi @maraalexia2000 ,

Thanks for bringing your question to the forums! This is the only way i know how to download versions prior to 2022, try this and let me know if that works out for you! i just did it on my side and it got me 3ds Max 2021 download 😄

To get product versions four to five years back:

  1. Sign in to Autodesk account at manage.autodesk.com.
  2. Click the Autodesk Assistant icon (balloon in bottom right corner).
  3. Click Post-purchase support.
  4. Click Downloads.
  5. Click Download software.
  6. Click Find a product download.
  7. Begin typing the name of the product you want to download.
  8. Select your product when its name appears.
  9. Select a version of the product.
  10. Answer the installation, language, and operating system prompts that appear.
  11. Click Submit.

Warm regards,

@MartinBeh,

I would hope so! Honestly I have never done it before, and it seems like this is the system licensing has set up for versions older than 3 years back, seeing as though Autodesk doesn't officially support software older than 3 years from a licensing perspective.

I am currently going through the process to see what the team sends me as well, so i will update the thread accordingly once the licensing support team gets back to me.

Warm regards,

Regarding the 3 yrs back licensing:
I clearly remember that this has officially been expanded to 5 years a few years back ( only the licensing, but not updates for older than 3yr or similar ) . But all traces of that information on Autodesk sites seem to have disappeared. Cant find anything in that regards on Autodesk sites
Only third party sites still carry those news. BTW those are not fake, because as said i clearly remember those news from back then. See eg. here:
https://microsolresources.com/tech-resources/article/autodesk-expands-previous-version-access-to-5-v...

Edit: found some offical site that still carries the 4 to 5 yrs info

This information now appears to be out of date, and it seems like there's again no way to get 3ds Max 2021 or 2022, or updates for either. Can you please provide information on how to do this now?
