Is there a way inside 3ds max to check if a model is taken from somewhere?

So my friend sent me a model on 3dsmax and i just want to check if he made the model or if it was taken or bought from somwhere, is there anyway i could check for such thing?

It can be difficult to tell if a model was taken from another source, but sometimes if you look at the applied materials or textures being used, the names of those things can be an indicator.  Some sellers of 3d models have distinctive naming conventions of their assets.
