There could be a couple reasons for this. Which version of 3ds Max are you using? I downloaded the model but it doesn't include textures with it so I'm flying blind a bit, but you could try these few things.
First, you could try to increase your texture resolution by clicking the Realistic text in your viewport and then clicking "Configure". You can adjust your texture res in the below areas:
Another thing to try is to switch to the realistic shader as shown in the image below:
Chances are it's just displaying a lower res version based on those settings. Give those a try and see if the problem gets better. Does it render looking normal?
