I've imported my Revit file in 3ds and when I move my selected windows and walls to another level, the unselected windows are moving too. I guess this is an "instance" thing. Is there any was to remove this and make the objects standalone in the scene, so I can move only the selected ones?
Take a "Snapshot" of the objects you don't want to move...make sure you pick COPY...delete the originals...they will stay selected so after completing the Snapshot just hit the delete key.
Instancing won't cause separate geometric objects to move together. That would be grouping or hierarchy that causes this effect. Could you post a video of exactly what is happening?
