Hello, I am attempting to make a ship via 3DS Max and I wanted to emulate one based on a picture. How can I put a photo like the one in the video?

Thank you for trying to help me out. You really had patience and you both deserve a medal. I am still having problems, like with the download you sent me tony.  I am going to video tape the process now. I just can't get it to work.

Hello, I still haven't been able to complete the basic plane application for the material editor. I have unfrozen the Plane and the material editor still wont apply the photograph. Additionally I can't seem to edit the EditablePoly button to only have four sides of a square

I'm really not sure how to help further on this one. If you open the file @irishman_team_kilber posted, everything should work just fine. Sorry man!

Hello @Anonymous

I wanted to check in, it's been a little while and wanted to see if you were still having issues with applying the material to the box object? Here is a video that walks through how to map an image to a material, and then apply that material to an object.

After applying the material to your object, if you are still having an issue with the image repeating, you can try putting in a larger number into the tiling option within your bitmap options, that would look similar to this in your slate material editor.

I hope this helps!
