I cannot figure out how to export my mesh without it triangulating. I export as an .fbx (see my settings in the attachment) with triangualtion turned off. I've tried different versions of FBX as well. Also tried without preserving edge orientation. I import into multiple other softwares to test and it always triangulates.
Feel like I've tried everything, does anyone know a solution?
Have you tried to import back into Max? If so, does it triangulate? Just trying to narrow it down to either the export from Max or import of the other software.
I exported a mesh object and imported it back into Max and it was a mesh.
