Graphite Modeling Tools Ribbon opens up huge, how do I restore to default size?

gmt.jpg

Not sure what I did to create this problem but my graphite modeling tools ribbon now opens up really big when I select one of the panel tiles. How do I restore to its default size?

I had that issue once and I solved it by resetting the 'ENU'. If you've never done that, it's a great way to correct a host of oddities that crop up.

Go to 'C:\Users\%Your User%\AppData\Local\Autodesk\3dsMax\20XX - 64bit\' and find the 'ENU' folder. Rename it so something like 'ENU_ORIGINAL'. Then restart Max. It will build a brand new one. See if things work well. If so and you haven't done much customization of Max, you'll be good to go without too much effort.

If you have customized a lot, there are ways to protect and save a good bit of that configuration. You can search here and Google for info on that. It's out there. But the main thing is to get you going so you can finish your project.

Awesome thanks a bunch that did the trick!
I did have some custom menus and scripts but was able to copy that stuff out of the old ENU folder into the new one and then loaded my custom UI and everything is back to how I prefer it to be!
Thank you very much!

Alright! I like it when something gets fixed without too much pain. Thanks for the update.

Right-click on the Ribbon toolbar and then select from the opened menu>Ribbon Configuration>Reset Ribbon to default. This worked for me.
