Hey guys,
I am trying to bake a diffuse map onto this simple object, everything is set up, I am baking from high to low poly, low poly UVs are all set up and projection modifier is applied etc.
I know how to bake normal maps, AO maps etc but for some reason when I go to bake a Diffuse map only the sides that face the camera are showing in the final image and sides facing away are black.
I have attached the normal map to show that is baking as intended, and then also the diffuse map with the problem I am describing.
Anyone know what I am doing wrong?

Hey Guys,
After about 2 hours of trying before I posted I took the Complete Material off the object and assigned just the diffuse via the Standard (Legacy) Node in material editor, and then baked it and it worked. I still need to learn how to bake with Arnold so if anyone has any links to a useful guide to baking using Arnold that would be appreciated. Marked as solution to this problem.
