Fluids stops 3ds Max

I have 2 identical workstations as follows:
AMD Ryzen Threadripper 2990WX 32-cor processosr 3.00GHz; Windows 11 v24H2; OS build 26100.4652; Nvidia P5000 graphics card with the latest driver 32.0.15.7342; 3ds Max 2022 - 2026; VRay, Update 1 (7.10.00 build).

I consider the above to be a reasonable system that should easily allow 3ds Max to work well, and all major components have the latest updates, but I'm experiencing problems when using Max Fluids, namely during either the 'Solve Liquid Component' or 'Generage Mesh Component' evaluations, the workstation suddenly goes to a blank screen and then the workstatin fans start to run fast. All I can do is turn off the workstation at the mains and re-boot the machine. I don't believe 3ds Max crashes at this point, but I cannot be sure due to the blank screen. I'm using voxel values of 4 - 7 for faster processing and due to these 'crashes' I'm never able to get down to lower voxel values.

In troubleshooting mode, I've tried to keep things simple by using a small emitter (15cm radius cylinder); a water container and a kill plane, and this workstation 'crash' issue is almost guaranteed to occur if I try to use a Motion Field with turbulence and noise activated. I have more success if this attribute is left unticked, but I can still get blank screen issues. Can anyone help?

hello @peter_coultas, thanks very much for the information. May I ask what motherboard you are using? If it's possible, could you share a test file and issue reproduction steps with me? Additionally, it would be great to use the most recent versions of 3ds Max as 3ds Max 2022 is no longer supported. Thank you!
