exporting loses color

hi, im new to 3ds max, id like to create a 3d model for Augment but when i export my 3d object in .dae i lose the color. all i did was create and cube, change its color but lose the color, why is that and how can i keep the color when exporting .dae

Hi,

 

Exporting to Augment with textures requires you to have 'Standard' materials applied to your objects.

Simply changing the vertex colour of objects will not translate across the two packages.
