Design for Morgan Motor Company 'Render Them Speechless' with Autodesk, HP, NVIDIA and Morgan Motor Company #AutoDesign

If you have additional technical questions, please post them here.

The Challenge

Designers and digital artists are invited to collaborate with the leaders in product design, 3D technology and advertising by producing a magazine advertisement for the Morgan Motor Company 3 Wheeler, to help launch their latest 3 Wheeler at a major automotive trade show. Submissions will be reviewed by an esteemed panel of judges.

The Magazine Advertisement

The winning magazine advertisement will be featured in the official Morgan Motors magazine MOG and other publications to be determined. This is your opportunity to be the Morgan Motor Company art director, and define the creative content.

The advertisement you submit must include a rendering of the 3 Wheeler generated with either Autodesk® Inventor, Autodesk® Showcase or Autodesk® 3ds Max Design (using iray).  Everything else (text, logos, graphics, etc) is up to your creative direction.

The Details

View the Guidelines for specific application instructions or consult the Autodesk® Product Design Suite visualization tutorials featuring Lynn Allen and the Product Design Suite graphics optimization guide.

Answer: This means, don't use textutures, material or other 3d objects that you don't have the rights to use. If you download anything from the internet, make sure that it is royalty free or that you have pay for the rights to use it.

Hope this helps.

HI,

That will be close enough. We suggest you keep both the model and the photo edited file as if you win the competition, you will need to provide all original files. You might also be ask to slighly adjust the size dimention to comply to the magazine need or other advertisement need. But for the competition entry, the size that you have it great. Those are all small details that will be easy to adjust once you have won the competition 🙂

Good luck!

HI,

I am not sure either.. all the jury will be looking at the competition entry from their own personal laptop. Most likely the colour will all be slightly different.

I don't see that the slight variation can be a problem in defining the quality and originality of your entry.

Good luck

Marion

HI,

You have the option to change the camera angle or the cameras lens to show the car the way that you want.

Having that said, showing a detail of the car can also be an artistic choice.

Good luck

Dear Marion,

I've got a question: Can I resubmit corrected artwork?

Can I do it by Deleting and then submit again?

I've noticed one thing which isn't perfect and I want to correct this, but I don't want to lose ability to take a part in competition when I couldn't resubmit image after deletion the old one.
