Bad bones reaction

Hi,
I am doing my first rig for the devilish looking character and having problem with setting up controls for the character's right ear. I am using Bones system, ear consists of five bones and a nub. I've set the spline controler for the left ear, aligned it pivot to pivot in position and orientation in x,y,z axis, linked the ear's parent bone to the controler and set the orientation constraint. I added the attribute holder to the controler, added the parameter named ear curl, and in the reaction manager I've set the state so the forth and the fifth bone curl down a little bit (each bone 35 degrees on local y axis). I did the same thing for the left ear and it worked just as I wanted, but on the right ear the bones start to curl like crazy. It seems that the forth bone goes 360 degrees around and the fifth bone also no matter how many degrees I put as a value in the reaction manager. What could be the problem?
