Alembic export messes up Material ID

Hi,

I'm using proboolean to make an animated mouth in a head. So there are 2 Mat Ids, one for head and other for the inside of the mouth which is created from the proboolean.

In the max file, the IDs behave nicely even when animating the mouth (using the proboolean)

But upon exporting this as an Alembic, the IDs get jumble up as the animation goes along.

Obvisouly the polygon count is changing as it is being animated. But again, if this is fine while in the max file, why does this not work after exporting to alembic?

Is there a solution for it? This is so crucial for my project, really if someone can help please do.
